Stopped by for the first time & ordered a meal to go. Our food came out quickly (less than 7 minutes). We got pulled pork & brisket with house made mild BBQ sauce & Carolina gold BBQ sauce. Both sauces were very good. We received generous servings of the pork & brisket and they were tasty. Our sides of baked beans, potato salad & green beans were meh. We'd return here but probably skip the sides next time.
Returning customner and food is still great. Tried something new . The waitress had said the soup was brisket and noodle soup. Got that and it was so worth it . Ordered the two meat combo . Ribs and pulled pork. Are the two sides could not finish the rest . Took it home had ribs for dinner and pulled pork the other night. Plenty of booths and tables . Waitress was very friendly and helpful, still recommend eating here.
It seemed to be a really popular place! It was really clean and nice, everyone was friendly. We had the brisket sandwich, the double cheeseburger and the pulled pork. No complaints, everything was great. Will stop again when in the area.
Such a welcome place in an area where it's fast food, Mexican or Italian only. Delicious food Full bar Great staff! Sadly only open Th-Su.
Let me talk to ya, Grayson! Me and the homie Billy we get through here very frequently and we stop and we live the service and we love the sauces. All the sauces are the Cat's Pajamas, ya heard. There ain't much in Grayson other than sauces and Freeway Football but when you at the Trough, brother, don't look down at the homie next to you, just stay focused on the task at hand: the chicken is delightful. I am here as a veteran to say the quiet parts out loud. You can hear it and you can fear it.
